The Golden State Warriors might have lost Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets, but they are still one of the most prominent teams in the NBA and added one of the most underrated Cats of all time this offseason, Willie Cauley-Stein.
Cauley-Stein was one of the biggest storylines during the Warrior’s Media Day on Monday, as he was limping around with crutches and a walking boot.
Cauley-Stein reportedly sprained his left foot trying to catch a lob in a pick-up game.
While no official timetable has been set, the Warriors seem to be taking a cautionary approach as he will be missing the entirety of training camp and potentially the entire month of October.
This is almost certainly due to a lack of frontcourt depth, and Cauley-Stein will definitely play a key part in the Warriors this season.
Last season with the Kings, Cauley-Stein averaged 11.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals in 27.3 minutes and 81 starts.
Once healthy, I am ready to see a Willie back on the court, are you?
